Steel-cut oats are heat treated and have a long shelf-life (18 months). They are yellow or golden brown in colour and have a clean oaty flavour and aroma.
How we have raised the standard
Glanbia agronomists work closely with a select team of growers in Ireland to select, test, monitor and harvest the seed. Our finished oats are fully traceable back to the farm. We use our own equipment to harvest which reduces contamination risks. Our state-of-the-art facility is AA BRC accredited and is flexible to meet customer requirements. Our gluten-free oats have shelf-life of 18 months compared to a 12 month standard.
